Digital Shoreditch - Raising Funding for your Digital Business by @RoseLewis

The Digital Shoreditch festival starts today and celebrates Shoreditch's digital and creative businesses until 1st June.

On 'CAPITAL' day, Thursday 24th May from 4:30-4:45pm, Rose Lewis will be presenting "Fund Raising for your Digital Business".

For the rest of the festival there are 10 themed days happening at the Digital Shoreditch HQ Big Top on Shoreditch High Street - Inspire, Innovate, Career, Capital, Identity, Growth, Next, Brands, Play and the Summit. There is alsi a 2 day hackathon hosted at Google Campus and a further 30+ events run by Digital Shoreditch partners.

We're thrilled to be able to support the festival in helping the companies start, grow and exit.

Pembridge want to put London’s creativity into the world’s hands – we offer finance, advice and customers to start-ups that combine great creativity with the best technology.

Each Friday from 10th May until 22nd June Pembridge will hold ‘Open Office Hours’ to talk to startups whose customers are or will be the big brands.

The format follows our 2011 series being an informal event for creative and digital investors, start-ups, acquirers, sellers, lawyers and bankers. We will bring together companies looking at; raising finance, acquiring, MBOs, partnering, or otherwise selling to other creative agencies, mobile developers, digital agencies, games businesses and their ilk to check in with each other over a drink or two.

Central Working and g2i present - Investment Day - 7th October

For start-ups and SMEs growth capital is often hard to come by…

Central and G2i have teamed up to create a one day series of workshops covering topics such as ‘how to pitch your idea’ and ‘an insight into the investment landscape’.

20 companies will be given the opportunity to attend a day of workshops and trial pitches at Central, FREE OF CHARGE.

Over the course of the day you will meet a series of experienced VCs, angels and successful entrepreneurs. Later, during trial pitches, you will be able to present your own ideas in front of a group of judges comprising of investors and experienced entrepreneurs.

Pitching Event at MiniBar 26th August

Gateway to Investment (@g2i), Mother and MiniBar have teamed up to create a one day series of workshops covering topics such as, ‘how to pitch your idea’, ‘an insight into the investment landscape’ and ‘the role creative branding plays in growing companies’.

We are offering 20 companies the chance to attend a day of workshops and trial pitches at Mother HQ in Shoreditch. Over the course of the day you will meet a series of experienced VC’s, angels and successful entrepreneurs taking the workshops, then later during our trial pitches you can present your own idea in front of a group of judges comprising of investors and experienced entrepreneurs.

The five best companies will get to pitch again at a MiniBar Meetup that evening in front of 250 techies and digerati. These 2 minute pitches will be filmed and professionally edited to be distributed online. The top three will also win: individual business plan review by g2i plus individual
branding sessions with Mother.
